A Place for Youth in Mediterranean EEA: Social and Sharing Economy for NEETs
The project “A Place for Youth in Mediterranean EEA: Resilient and Sharing Economy for NEETs” (YOUTHShare) aims at reducing the unemployment of youth, and especially of NEETs (people not in education, employment and/ or training), in coastal and island regions of Mediterranean European Economic Area (EEA).
YOUTHShare regards low-skilled women and migrants who are not in education, employment and/ or training between 25 – 29 years old.
The project will introduce youth to the labour market using innovative ways and personalised approach. Through multi-scalar methodology and practice, YOUTHShare will boost social entrepreneurship and sharing economy in order to reduce economic disparities and increase social integration of Youth.
YOUTHShare project offers an opportunity to young people to strengthen their social and emotional skills through coaching, to be trained for 120 hours in resilient sectors through innovative educational material and work as an “intern” in a relevant local firm.
YOUTHShare project is funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA and Norway Grants Fund for Youth Employment.
